Information Security Officer - VIE

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is a unique opportunity sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment. It allows Airbus to offer young professionals the chance to gain valuable, paid work experience abroad in a technical or business capacity.

The VIE contract duration ranges from 6 to 24 months. An Information Security Officer position is available within Airbus Africa and Middle East FZE in Dubai. The Cyber Security teams at Airbus play a crucial role in a competitive and rapidly evolving environment, committed to fostering a connected, safer, and more prosperous world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and regulations.
• Identify and assess potential security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and the Security team.
• Promote security awareness and enhance the organizational security culture.
• Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and other stakeholders.
• Continuously improve the security posture of the organization.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Experience in information security and information technology.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and technologies.
• Strong understanding of information security principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with a collaborative working style.

Language Requirements:

• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking); knowledge of other languages, such as Arabic, is a plus.
