We are seeking a driven IT Manager to join our Fulfillment & Operations IT team in DXB3 FC based in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping our busy Fulfillment Center and its child site(s) running smoothly in a 24/7 production environment. Your primary tasks will involve resolving complex hardware, software, server, and infrastructure issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure IT maintenance work and troubleshooting is performed to a high standard in compliance with Amazon policies and guidelines, particularly in IT and Health & Safety.
  • Lead the coordination of incidents, requests, and change management to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Support technical task execution by effectively managing IT projects and ensuring the team takes real IT ownership.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget and encourage staff skill development.
  • Manage staff hours and shifts, including scheduling, and drive continuous improvement of IT team processes.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and actively participate in meetings to prioritize tasks.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying and resolving issues promptly.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as an IT Operations Manager.
  • A technical Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in an operations/logistics environment as an IT/ICT Manager or IT Service Delivery Manager.
  • Knowledge and expertise in Linux/Unix and Microsoft Windows support.
  • Familiarity with networking (LAN/WAN) and IT infrastructure, including data cabling.
  • Experience in developing and managing IT budgets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience leading technical teams, both in-house and remotely.
  • Understanding of core internet technologies (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, etc.)
  • CISCO certifications and experience in Unix/Linux or Microsoft Windows support.
  • ITIL and Prince2 certifications are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of telecom technologies like VOIP/SIP.

Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is required.
