Position

International Systems Engineering (ISE) provides IT capability and service both onsite and centrally to all projects and programs in BAE Systems Saudi Arabia and to our partner companies. ISE is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda, including Saudisation and the training and development of Saudi National capability through the growth of Saudi National Partner Companies, thereby reinforcing industrialisation and partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify network attacks from internal and external sources.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to business areas in need of Security Monitoring services.
  • Utilize processes and technologies to detect and prevent malicious attacks.
  • Enhance tools and techniques to defend against attacks.
  • Respond to security events, from detection and analysis to closure.
  • Work with project teams to design, develop, and implement Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) into new or existing network infrastructures.
  • Act as the point of contact and represent Security Monitoring in project delivery workshops.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: University degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Holding certifications in IT security such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7+ years of IT security experience.
  • Special Skills:
    • Expert understanding of the current and developing malware and Trojan landscape.
    • In-depth knowledge of full packet capture technologies.
    • Familiarity with correlation tools and SIEM technologies.
    • In-depth understanding of sandbox technologies and their limitations.
    • Extensive experience with SourceFire, Snort, or similar Intrusion Detection Systems.
    • Expert knowledge of Intrusion Detection signature development and log analysis tools and techniques.
