About the Job: Boston Consulting Group (BCG) partners with leaders in business and society to address significant challenges and seize opportunities. As an IT Intern, you will play a crucial role in the IT operations team by assisting with daily IT requests, managing IT assets, and supporting project implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technology support across various platforms and devices (e.g., PC, Mac, iOS, Android).
  • Offer 1st/2nd line IT support to users utilizing knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Active Directory.
  • Troubleshoot and log technical issues via phone calls or the IT Service Management tool, Service Now.
  • Assist with the documentation of technical procedures and end-user literature.
  • Support video conference and telecommunications systems and assist key users as needed.
  • Help prepare and deploy laptops for staff with required user profile configuration and data migration.
  • Manage hardware asset tracking and inventory management.
  • Support telecom services management, including SIM card requests and basic troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a relevant bachelor's degree (IT, Computer Science, or similar).
  • Eligible for an Internship - COOP program.
  • Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Ability to communicate and present technical concepts effectively.
  • Troubleshooting skills and knowledge of Windows 11, Windows server, Mac OS, Microsoft Office 365, and cloud file sharing.
  • Familiarity with MS Teams, Zoom, WebEx meeting setup, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of LAN and IP networking, with logical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with SCCM or imaging software preferred.
  • Exposure to cloud technology and VoIP systems.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT is a plus.

Working Environment:

  • Shared office space.
  • Some lifting/moving of equipment may be required.
  • Occasional weekend work or early/late hours may be necessary based on business needs.
