The Systems Integrations Engineering Manager is a critical engineering management role aimed at driving business success through a passion for Linux and Ubuntu. The individual will lead the Commercial Systems unit, comprising several engineering teams, and will focus on integrating various business systems to ensure seamless data flow and automate business processes. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and hire a team of software engineers. - Design and deliver engineering solutions utilizing Go, Python, and open-source tools such as Airbyte and Temporal. - Collaborate with business customers to evaluate their data and integration needs and seek improvements in engineering processes and solutions. Qualifications: - Experience as a software developer in Python. - Strong understanding of integration patterns. - Proven experience as a hands-on engineering manager or team lead. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. - Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment while staying motivated and organized. - Willingness to travel internationally for up to a week, approximately 2-4 times per year. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Go as a high-level programming language. - Background in business roles such as sales, finance, or operations. - A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related engineering field.
