Position

At Capgemini Engineering, a leader in engineering services, we unite a global team of engineers, scientists, and architects to empower some of the world's most innovative companies. We focus on delivering unique R&D and engineering services across various industries, from autonomous vehicles to life-saving robotics. As part of the Engineering R&D team in the Middle East, you will lead the Hybrid Intelligence Practice, emphasizing capability building, people development, thought leadership, and solutioning. Your role will involve shaping the strategic direction of the practice, establishing trust with customer accounts, and participating in pre-sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Hybrid Intelligence practice, aligning with engineering business objectives.
  • Establish trust and credibility with customer accounts.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities, including preparing proposals and shaping discussions.
  • Contribute to offer packaging with Portfolio, CoE Managers, and Marketing.
  • Manage expectations for internal stakeholders and project teams ensuring alignment with engineering capabilities.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture while managing a team of 4 to 10 engineers as a People Manager.
  • Uphold high standards of integrity and ethical behavior.

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Hybrid Intelligence, including 5+ years in a leadership or practice development role.
  • Strong technical foundation in data engineering, machine learning, and AI model development applied to industrial operations or R&D activities.
  • Experience developing solutions in Edge & Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Proven leadership in defining technical strategy and supporting Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience working in multicultural environments, especially in the Middle East, is desirable.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
