The Senior Manager of Security Operations provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to safeguard Chalhoub Group's digital assets, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and systems. This pivotal role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust security operations framework that effectively detects, responds to, and mitigates cybersecurity threats.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, managing technologies and strategic partnerships while driving continuous improvements in cybersecurity practices.
- Mentor a high-performing cybersecurity team, setting performance goals and providing guidance for professional development.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives and risk appetite while staying abreast of emerging threats and technologies.
- Manage security operations KPIs, SLAs, and budget allocation.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of advanced cybersecurity technologies to protect digital assets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Technology and business leaders to integrate cybersecurity into new and existing technology initiatives.
- Manage the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to ensure continuous monitoring and response to cybersecurity incidents.
- Develop and maintain Group Cyber Security standards, playbooks, and incident response plans.
- Lead investigations of significant cybersecurity incidents, ensuring clear communication to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong technical expertise and in-depth understanding of SOC, SIEM, and SOAR.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Proven experience managing major cybersecurity incidents and executing international strategies in complex organizations.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Hands-on experience with a broad range of cybersecurity technologies, including Next Gen SOC/SIEM, CASB, CSPB, DLP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and cloud security.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
