Information Technology Support Specialist

We are seeking an Information Technology Support Specialist who will provide first and second level support for end device equipment, such as laptops, desktops, printers, barcode scanners, and network systems, including CCTV. Your responsibilities will include enforcing Information Security Management System policies and procedures for Asset Management, License Management, and Service Level Management. You will manage the inventory of spares and stocks for all end-user IT assets of the organization and implement change control procedures for all IT assets, tracking asset performance and financials.

You will interact internally and externally with all end users and customers daily to achieve department and work unit goals and initiatives. Additionally, you will coordinate with the IT Helpdesk and suppliers to resolve user hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops. Your role will also involve working with Procurement and suppliers for the purchase of IT assets, both hardware and software, and providing technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues both remotely and on-site within the UAE.

Language Requirements:
Good verbal and written communication skills are required for effective interaction with internal IT colleagues, business leaders, and the external audit community.

Technical Skills:

• Solid attention to detail with the ability to create and document processes and procedures
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems, and software
• Good understanding of network systems and protocols, as well as server hardware and operating systems
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality in a busy environment with a positive approach.
