Network Security Engineer

About the Job: We are seeking a Network Security Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this full-time position, you will assist in security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans, providing detailed reports and recommendations. Your role will involve monitoring security events and incidents, escalating and responding to threats as necessary. You will support policy implementation, ensuring that security policies are understood and followed, while collaborating with the security team to maintain and update security documentation. Additionally, you will contribute to incident response activities, assist with investigations, document findings, and provide input into security strategy and risk management processes. Staying informed about security trends and best practices will be crucial, as well as contributing to security awareness training for employees. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Typically, 5+ years of relevant work experience in the industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role. - Proven experience in information security analysis. - Proficiencies in security technologies and risk assessment. - A continuous learner that stays abreast of industry knowledge and technology. Other Qualifications: - Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus. - Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.
