Edenred UAE is a fast-growing payroll service provider serving more than 6,000 businesses and over 2 million unbanked employees. We work with more than 10 banks and 35 financial institutions, providing a unique value proposition for companies to manage payroll efficiently and for employees to access their salaries with multiple value-added services via our mobile app, including money transfers, mobile recharges, and card services.

As a global leader in payment solutions, Edenred seeks a talented Level 2 .NET Backend Developer to join our dynamic team, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's objectives within a multidisciplinary squad.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and developing software solutions under guidance.
• Work collaboratively with the team to implement experiments and derive insights from data.
• Write clean and maintainable code with support from peers and mentors.
• Participate in code reviews to learn coding standards and improve code quality.
• Contribute to discussions about architecture and design within the team.
• Embrace a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement by sharing ideas and feedback.

Technical Qualifications:

• Experience in C# and .NET (Core, .NET 6+).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration.
• Knowledge of Entity Framework and SQL, including database design and queries.
• Basic understanding of software development methodologies and coding best practices.
• Interest or beginner experience in working with hosting and cloud services.
• Exposure to .NET testing libraries like XUnit and NSubstitute is a plus.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, microservices, or distributed systems is desirable.
