About the Job:
The Emirates NBD Group Business Strategic Sourcing Unit is part of the Group Procurement Division, responsible for sourcing the necessary goods and services for the Group’s operations. The primary goal is to obtain the right goods and services at the right time, quality, and cost while balancing economy, efficiency, value for money, suitability, competition, transparency, accountability, and sustainability.

As the Sourcing Manager, you will execute strategic sourcing initiatives for technology services aimed at cost efficiency, supplier performance, and category management excellence across Group Locations. Your responsibilities will include managing vendor relationships, negotiating favorable terms, ensuring compliance with sourcing policies, and optimizing sourcing operations to deliver value through supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management: Lead vendor selection and negotiation processes; maintain contractual and business relationships; monitor contract compliance. Achieve cost savings while maintaining supply quality.
  • Strategy Implementation: Ensure strategies are executed and reductions are secured per implementation plans. Monitor contract compliance and address non-compliance issues with business unit leadership.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Develop and monitor business unit satisfaction with key suppliers.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated with market trends and communicate new technologies and solutions.
  • Best Practices: Identify and define sourcing best practices and work with stakeholders for wide adoption across the organization.
  • Compliance: Uphold internal and external policies, regulations, and laws.
  • Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with the Vendor Performance Management team to monitor and report on supplier performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • CIPS Level 3 minimum; Level 4 or higher preferred
  • Multi-year track record in a sourcing organization
  • Technology sourcing experience (3 to 5 years)
  • Technical skills: Problem-solving, analytical, negotiation skills, understanding of the source-to-contract cycle
  • Managerial skills: Project management, negotiation, organized, detail-oriented, quick learner
