As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will facilitate and support the data capture, data modelling, and testing to enable real-time data-driven decisions that contribute to business success. You will identify data capture requirements and, along with inputs from relevant teams across the department, design and implement analytics solutions using proper analytical tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand requirements for tracking, measurement, and reporting across assigned department
- Develop and maintain interactive Dashboards with tools like Power BI and MicroStrategy
- Lead on the manipulation of existing programming logics and structures to fit changing technologies and business demands
- Work with Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) data engineering team, & Emirates Group IT to test and validate the data ingestion results
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) on data capture by ED&A
- Support the ED&A data governance team in addressing data governance requirements
Requirements
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Operational Research, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, etc.
- 5+ years of experience within a similar business area focusing on data analytics, with 2 years in a supervisory role
- Business Intelligence knowledge and deep understanding of Power BI Platform and good knowledge of MicroStrategy tool
- Good understanding of Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI
- Good understanding of Python, Snowflake, and SQL based data integration
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
