The role includes supporting and driving software engineering strategies, standards, and guidelines within the assigned feature team. You will collaborate with the team to develop business-critical technical solutions through software programming and robust engineering practices. Responsibilities include planning, estimation, application development, deployment, release, and operation of developed solutions. You will provide technical leadership to the assigned team in the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to deliver technical design, development, and deployment of complex solutions
- Conduct effective technical design reviews to ensure the right architecture patterns used by the team
- Drive the adoption of Engineering practices & implement development process automation
- Evaluate current problems, future requirements, and existing solutions for medium to large projects
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies
- Manage and mentor Software Engineers to enable skill development
Requirements
- A Degree or Honours (12+3) or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
- 5+ years of experience within Information Technology
- Functional knowledge of IBM Maximo Asset Management version 76
- Experience with Java classes and JSP for mobile applications
- Strong understanding of Oracle 19c and above versions
- Strong lean/agile development and systems analytical skills
