We are looking for exceptional IT professionals to join our cutting-edge information and technology team as a Senior Technical Software Engineer - Oracle ERP - HR.
In this role, you will support in driving and implementing software engineering strategies, standards, and guidelines within the assigned feature team. You will collaborate with the team to develop business-critical technical solutions through software programming and robust engineering practices. Responsibilities include planning, application development, deployment, release management, and operational support of developed solutions. You will provide technical leadership during the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team for technical design, development, and deployment of complex solutions.
- Drive the adoption of software engineering practices, including automation, lean development, test-driven development, and agile practices.
- Evaluate current problems and future requirements to inform high-level design and validate ideas through proof-of-concepts.
- Investigate, debug, and resolve complex issues, supporting continuous improvement and presenting new technologies for architectural review.
- Manage and mentor Software Engineers to foster skill development, ensuring adherence to design and coding standards.
Requirements
- A Degree or Honours (12+3) or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience within Information Technology.
- Certification in Salesforce, Ximo, Full Stack Development, or other relevant technologies/products.
- Extensive experience in developing advanced technology solutions for large organizations in a multi-functional environment.
- Proven experience in production support using the ITIL framework and full-stack development capabilities, covering UI, Middleware, and Databases.
- Expertise in technology vendor management, and familiarity with contemporary engineering practices.
- Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL development and handling complex implementations is a plus.
