As part of the Fortinet Cloud Security Consulting team, the Cloud Solutions Architect will serve as the center of excellence for specific Cloud Security technology areas and associated Fortinet products/solutions. This individual will engage directly with customers of all levels to deliver consulting services and proof of concepts. Candidates should possess excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with public and/or private cloud technologies, software development, and network/application security.
Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Security Solution Expert:
- Assist customers with developing multi-cloud and hybrid cloud security blueprints focused on vendor-neutral and cloud-agnostic design best practices.
- Maintain expertise in Fortinet products for cloud solutions and competitive offerings.
- Conduct demonstrations and respond to inquiries from industry analysts.

Trusted Advisor:
- Attend customer meetings to provide expert opinions on cloud security design and architecture.
- Develop custom architecture and automation code for customer cloud deployments.
- Publish reference architectures for various use cases.

Continuous Learner:
- Dedicate time to training and education on new technologies.
- Drive technical webinars and hands-on demonstrations.
- Assist in developing advanced course materials for the NSE institute and provide constructive feedback.

Evangelist:
- Publish whitepapers and blogs on relevant technology topics.
- Draft architecture papers that analyze and justify technology adoption.
- Network actively within the industry to build relationships and awareness.
Required Skills:
- A minimum of 10 years in roles such as Systems Engineer, Consulting Systems Engineer, or Solution Architect in Cloud, Networking, Infrastructure, or Cybersecurity.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with two or more public/private cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, NSX).
- Proficiency in modern software architecture, including CI/CD and DevOps tools (e.g., Ansible, CloudFormation, Azure ARM), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and API-first strategy.
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Java.
- Public Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP) are highly recommended.
- Proven expertise in Networking and Security with relevant industry certifications considered advantageous.
- Experience in designing and building applications using container and serverless technologies.
- Excellent presentation and demo skills, alongside superior documentation and technical writing capabilities.
- Three or more years of experience with cloud solutions, virtual platforms, and software development.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Comfortable with public speaking.
