Help AG is seeking a talented and experienced Offensive Security Consultant (VAPT) to engage in a broad range of activities related to cybersecurity and penetration testing. The consultant will be involved in key areas such as conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing services for web applications, performing web application audits, executing mobile application penetration testing (iOS & Android), conducting source code reviews and software assurance maturity audits, undertaking red teaming and infrastructure security assessments, and performing both internal and external penetration testing. Additionally, the consultant will engage in vulnerability research.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests according to Help AG’s methodology and the scope of assigned projects.
- Contribute to the VA and PT knowledge base by documenting new techniques, attacks, or zero-day findings.
- Update Help AG's penetration testing guidelines by documenting newly added attacks and procedures.
- Attend technical customer meetings and perform security assessments independently.
- Research new threats.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
- 0 - 3 years of experience as a penetration tester.
- Knowledge in web-based programming.
- Technical writing skills (articles, demonstrations, reports, and technical blogs).
- OSCP or OSCE certification preferred; SANS certifications are optional.
- Strong vision, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to various programming languages as required.
- Good presentation skills, fast learner, self-motivated with an eagerness to learn, and a team player.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is preferred.
