We are looking for a highly talented Senior Android Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This role is ideal for candidates who want to gain hands-on experience and create a direct impact in a fast-paced environment. You will work with a collaborative team, leveraging your expertise to contribute significantly to our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Stay updated on the latest software development methodologies to provide best-in-class solutions.
- Analyze product requirements to determine engineering requirements, evaluate technical feasibility, estimate efforts, and provide solutions in collaboration with the Product Team.
- Develop software components and manage programming efforts to transform requirements into functional software.
- Document coding processes to ensure comprehensibility and facilitate future modifications.
- Write unit, integration, and UI/Snapshot tests.
- Investigate and resolve issues and bugs.
- Collaborate with colleagues for code reviews and deliver pertinent reports.
- Perform functional and module testing to ensure functionality of solutions.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on product development while recommending improvements.
- Assist in user trials and acceptance testing.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, particularly in Kotlin or Swift (Java is acceptable).
- Experience with Flutter is preferred.
- Strong skills in native Android development and modern mobile architectures.
- Proficiency in writing high-quality, testable code.
- In-depth knowledge of the mobile engineering lifecycle, particularly working with Agile methodologies (SCRUM or Kanban).
- Proven engineering excellence with a significant impact on development projects.
- Familiarity with versioning tools (Git) and managing multiple projects.
- Practical knowledge of Android Development practices like ViewModel, LiveData, Paging, Navigation, SafeArgs, Retrofit2, RxJava2, and Dagger2.
- Understanding of Modular App Architecture and CI/CD pipeline.
- Ability to create new modules using maintainable architecture.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of Firebase, Google Maps API, Fastlane scripting, and Checkout.com SDK.
