Position

Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition.

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of a major mixed-use development, including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts, along with all associated infrastructure. Mace is seeking high-caliber and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct 3D content creation and support for virtual city, arch-viz, and XR environments.
  • Manage digital product delivery, XR studio operations, and information review.
  • Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and digital handover strategies.
  • Define and manage information requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR, EIR) and CDE processes.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 standards and security protocols.
  • Oversee production, assurance, and checking of information models (pre-RIBA Stage 3).
  • Develop BIM standards, object libraries, and shared resources.
  • Support construction sequencing and cost planning using BIM data.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and Autodesk solutions.
  • Provide training on BIM tools, COBie, data analysis, and assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with clients, Mace PMs, and design teams to ensure procedural compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement, and net-zero carbon transition.
  • Conduct interviews to assess the skills and experience of potential candidates for BIM roles.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree qualification.
  • Advanced understanding of ISO 19650, BS1192, Common Data Environment (CDE), IFC, COBie, and classifications.
  • Experience in content management library systems.
  • Proficient in Autodesk desktop products.
  • Experience with validation and verification tools.
  • Knowledge of visualization tools.
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience on high-value projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business.
