As a Solution Architect, you will be part of a multi-disciplined project team dedicated to designing and delivering complex mission-critical voice and data systems. These systems may be used directly by our customers or by Motorola Solutions to provide Managed Services. You will work on the post-sales phases of projects and support multiple projects in parallel, depending on the size and complexity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with Unified Communications customers to understand solution needs and the functionality of MSI and third-party applications and hardware.
- Provide high-level design for integration with customer or 3rd party IP/LTE/LMR networks.
- Oversee technical design aspects of Software Architecture from pre-sales to system acceptance.
- Finalize design and deployment of the solution, conduct customer presentations, support system staging, acceptance testing, and manage product interaction.
- Complete design documentation and conduct live system upgrades.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSEE/BSCE preferred).
- Knowledge in Unified Communications, radio communication systems, broadband/LTE, or 3GPP.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of IP networking, network design methodologies, and troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3).
- Familiarity with virtualization and containerization platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex topics to non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated and able to maintain focus in a pressured environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Certifications:
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA-Junos, Nokia NRS1, CCNA, or similar are a plus.
