As a Cloud Solution Engineer based in Dubai, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer success by acting as a trusted advisor. You'll build strong relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, and foster retention. Your collaboration with the sales team will be essential in understanding customer requirements and working across Oracle’s cloud teams to align our solutions with their needs, providing strategic guidance throughout the process.
Key responsibilities include creating and delivering technical proposals, presentations, and solution documentation that showcase the value and benefits of our offerings. You will define comprehensive cloud solutions using Oracle's IaaS and PaaS portfolio, ensuring they meet customer requirements and adhere to industry best practices. Additionally, you will design and deliver enterprise cloud architectures that articulate the business value through vision, capability models, assessments, and technical architecture. Leading cross-functional Oracle teams will also be part of your duties to help customers design, adopt, and govern their enterprise cloud architecture and solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
To be successful in this role, you should have over 10 years of experience in technology and industry, particularly with public cloud platforms. Your technical fluency paired with strong communication skills will enable you to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. You should possess strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset to navigate business and technical challenges. A deep understanding of cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, AI) and their applications across various business functions and technical audiences is crucial. Experience as a Cloud Architect or in a customer-facing role such as a Pre-Sales Solution Architect, with a focus on enterprise cloud solutions, is highly desirable. Relevant hyperscaler cloud certifications and familiarity with cloud implementation cycles are also required, along with a degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
