About the Job:
As a Principal Account Cloud Engineer, you will collaborate with sales to bridge the gap between business and technology, demonstrating the value of Oracle Cloud to customers. This role requires a deep understanding of customer systems, priorities, and needs to develop unique solutions. You will focus on customers that are Digital Natives, who generally have robust cloud and software engineering capabilities.
What You Will Do:
- Lead technical activities on customer accounts from project conception to adoption.
- Build a strong understanding of customer requirements to deliver tailored solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor on cloud engineering matters.
- Provide technical expertise on cloud infrastructure, platforms, and architecture.
- Collaborate with sales teams to define account strategies and win new workloads.
- Lead solution creation, architecture design, and workshops.
- Illustrate the value of Oracle cloud products, architectures, and new technologies.
What You’ll Bring:
- Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Strong technical proficiency and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking for business and technical challenges.
- Commitment to understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional value.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, AI).
- Experience in roles such as consultant, cloud architect, or platform engineer.
