The Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned and creative Frontend Engineer to design and build front-end applications. You will implement visual elements in web applications and translate UI/UX design wireframes into programming language, delivering innovative, stable, and high-performing frontend engineering solutions for Presight’s customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in advanced programming knowledge, ensuring that application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
- Design fully responsive applications by writing clean, tested, modular, and well-documented code.
- Develop optimal solutions to enhance user experience, focusing on speed, scalability, and technical feasibility.
- Document software deliverables through use cases, design documents, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with multiple teams for appropriate integration of functions and define necessary system enhancements.
- Participate in design and architecture reviews, offering inputs for improvements.
- Understand complex business requirements and provide innovative technical solutions.
- Comply with QHSE, Business Continuity, Information Security, and related policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in front-end web development.
- At least 3 years of experience in building web applications in an AI/big data service organization or analytics industry.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5/CSS3, modern JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience building single-page applications with React or other component-based frameworks.
- Strong understanding of state management in front-end applications and experience with MobX or Redux.
- Experience in media operations in browser (Canvas, Audio, Video APIs).
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Strong understanding of programming principles (SOLID) and RESTful API design.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Ideally, you’ll also need:
- Experience with popular UI component libraries, ideally Ant Design.
- Experience with WebGL/WebAssembly and DevOps tasks like CI/CD.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and reliability engineering.
- Passion for the latest developments in front-end programming and in-depth market knowledge.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
