The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and creative Frontend Engineer to design and build front-end applications by implementing visual elements in web applications. This role involves translating UI/UX design wireframes into programming language, delivering stable, high-performing, secure, accessible, and profitable frontend engineering solutions for Presight’s customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced expertise in applications programming and ensure design adherence to overall architecture.
- Build fully responsive applications with clean, tested, modular, and well-documented code.
- Develop user experience solutions while optimizing speed, scalability, and technical feasibility.
- Document software deliverables through use cases, design documents, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with multiple teams for integration and define necessary system enhancements.
- Participate in design and architecture reviews, offering inputs for improvements.
- Provide innovative technical solutions to complex business requirements.
- Ensure compliance with QHSE and other organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in front-end web development.
- At least 3 years of experience in building robust web applications in an AI or big data service organization.
- Strong knowledge in web fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, and modern web standards.
- Expertise in modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with single-page applications (SPA) using React or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of state management in front-end apps, with experience in MobX or Redux.
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Proficient with RESTful APIs and version control tools, such as Git.
- Knowledge of UI component libraries, preferably Ant Design, and experience with DevOps practices like CI/CD is a plus.
