About the Job:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Azure Engineer who will manage and optimize Azure resources, implement governance policies, and ensure compliance with security standards. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and leveraging advanced analytics tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize Azure resources for efficient and cost-effective cloud operations.
- Implement and maintain Azure governance policies, including resource tagging, cost allocation, and budget management.
- Monitor and analyze Azure usage and spending to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Develop and automate scripts to streamline cloud management tasks.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in the Azure environment.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams for optimized cloud infrastructure and application performance.
- Provide guidance and support on Azure best practices and cost optimization strategies.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of Azure resource configuration and usage.
Migration and Digital Transformation Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute the migration of on-premises systems to Azure with minimal disruption.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure during and after migration for cost savings and performance improvements.
- Implement best practices for cloud architecture, security, and cost management.
- Align cloud strategies with business goals and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
Offshore and International Considerations:
- Ensure consistent Azure management and cost optimization practices across all locations.
- Provide training to offshore teams on Azure best practices.
- Monitor and address region-specific challenges related to Azure usage and costs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure, especially in cost management and optimization.
Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, architecture, and best practices.
- Proficiency in cost management tools and techniques, including Azure Cost Management and Billing.
- Experience with automation tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
