Technical Project Manager

Presight, in partnership with ADNOC, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join AIQ, an Abu Dhabi-based company specializing in the development of artificial intelligence technologies for the oil and gas sector. In this role, you will lead complex projects that integrate advanced technology solutions, aiming to optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation within the energy industry.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare overall project implementation plans with milestones.
• Manage end-to-end project implementation using Agile methodology.
• Oversee all project phases, ensuring execution aligns with the project scope.
• Prepare all project documentation, including final project reports.
• Report project progress and concerns to the Project Owner.
• Prepare the Tender Package in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Review technical proposals and conduct evaluations with focal points.
• Develop detailed Cost/Benefit Analysis for subcontracting options.
• Plan and monitor execution during product development.
• Organize team meetings, agile ceremonies, and steering committees.
• Identify and remove project obstacles and manage risks.
• Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Collect and evaluate team productivity data.
• Coordinate releases across multiple teams and manage resource allocation.
• Plan and manage project budgets (CAPEX and OPEX).
• Develop and review operational plans and budget requirements.
• Communicate project progress, updates, and risks to stakeholders.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and improvements.
• Develop policies and procedures in line with best practices.
• Manage internal and external audits ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate with ADNOC stakeholders to develop project scope and deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Petroleum Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 12 years of project management experience, with a focus on the Oil & Gas industry (preferably with ADNOC).
• Completion of at least 3 large-scale project implementations in relevant industries.
• Experience with AI and Big Data projects is advantageous.
• Familiarity with industry safety and regulatory requirements.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) and proficiency in tools like Jira.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing and web-based applications.
• On-site experience in reservoir, production, or drilling is preferred.
• Experience with Data Management and Artificial Intelligence solutions is a plus.
• Language Requirements: Not specified, but fluency in English is typically expected in international environments.
