Position

Join ServiceNow as a Senior Data Center Operations Engineer. The Data Center Operations Team is responsible for planning, hardware installation and configuration, optimization, operations, and ongoing maintenance of data centers. The role involves overseeing systems performance, monitoring equipment, and managing vendor relationships. You will be responsible for capacity planning, continuous assessments for process improvement, and ensuring processes are well-documented, sustainable, and scalable. Consistency with policies, compliance regulations, and control requirements will also be monitored.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Available for 24/7 support as needed, with willingness to work during off-hours for scheduled maintenance, emergencies, and on-call situations.
  • Troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal Service-Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Hands-on experience with hardware replacement for servers and network appliances.
  • Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits as required.
  • Extensive experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining data center IT equipment.
  • Manage vendor relationships in a data center environment.
  • Coordinate onsite delivery and shipping of all equipment.
  • Willingness to work and relocate to Neom, Tabuk, or Dammam.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related IT field, along with relevant certifications and/or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in data center operations, with hands-on experience working with racks and servers.
  • Strong knowledge of networking/server architecture and hardware.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication, customer focus, problem-solving, conflict management, and time management skills.
  • Open to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Dedicated to ongoing professional development and fulfilling necessary on-the-job training requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in building new data center sites and managing ongoing responsibilities.
  • Strong documentation skills, especially regarding technical processes and standards.
  • Technical understanding of data center facilities including power, HVAC, structured cabling, and security.
  • Knowledge of ITIL process methodologies, CCNA, CompTIA Hardware, and experience with CISCO, Juniper, and other networking devices is a plus.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English is expected. Additional language skills may be beneficial.
