Role Summary:
As the AI Engineer, you will implement and maintain various Deep Learning and traditional Machine Learning models, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that includes Product Managers and Software Developers. You will focus on advancing a state-of-the-art AI platform applicable to domains such as Computer Vision, Optimization, and Anomaly Detection.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and product analysts to understand data needs.
- Build data expertise and ensure data quality for your areas of ownership.
- Build and launch new Data Models and data extraction, transformation, and loading processes in production.
- Define and manage SLAs for all data sets in your allocated areas.
- Work with data infrastructure to resolve infrastructure issues.
- Develop reports on key metrics to improve business development efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, data engineering, or system engineering.
- 3+ years of experience with Data Warehouse/Data Lake design and maintenance.
- 3+ years of experience in custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance.
- 3+ years of experience in AI and ML algorithm development.
Technical Competencies:
- Big Data pipeline architectures and data sets.
- Experience with queuing and streaming processing.
- Familiarity with scalable data stores and cloud providers such as AWS or GCP.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or Go.
- Experience with version management tools like GitHub or GitLab.
