Academic Qualifications:

• UAE Nationals: Bachelor's/Diploma in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Non-UAE Nationals: Bachelor's/Diploma in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience Requirements:

• UAE Nationals: Minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Non-UAE Nationals: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to achieving departmental and administrative objectives in alignment with the ITC’s strategic plan and related GIS & navigation programs.
• Support the integration of intelligent transportation systems with Abu Dhabi Government’s geographic transport infrastructure and related projects.
• Provide technical support for GIS-navigation system users, including support for central GIS databases and applications.
• Gather and document information on existing systems and prepare technical reports.
• Participate in the design and adaptation of new systems and applications to meet operational needs.
• Analyze software performance, apply corrective measures, and maintain/update all geographic applications.
• Communicate with application users to identify needs and challenges in using GIS systems and provide necessary technical support.
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain smart device applications and web-based platforms (internet/intranet) integrated with GIS services.
• Participate in preparing required technical manuals (e.g., detailed system design, user manuals, system operations manuals).
• Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the Data & Systems Department Manager or the GIS & Navigation Section Head, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and government regulations.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as needed per directions from the section head.
