Agile Coach

We have an immediate vacancy for an Agile Coach with 8+ years of experience at Synechron, based in Dubai. The Agile Coach drives the Agile Maturity of the organization by inspiring a culture built on Agile Principles, tools, and techniques, including but not limited to Scrum and Kanban. As a true Servant Leader, mentor, and coach, the Agile Coach maximizes the performance of squads, teams, and tribes by sharing expertise in Agile methodologies. This role involves leading Scrum Master interactions with leadership across Group IT and business to ensure consistent and efficient delivery of value-based products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach the tribe on excellence in Agile ceremonies and practices.
• Lead the tribe to create a culture based on continuous improvement.
• Guide the Product Owner in improving user story refining, backlog refining, and sprint planning techniques.
• Drive transparency and governance on the progress of Agile maturity for business owners and stakeholders.
• Provide coaching and workshops as needed, such as simulations on empirical planning and exemplary user stories.
• Demonstrate leadership capabilities while working with cross-functional distributed teams.
• Help teams adapt to changes, such as transitioning from waterfall to Agile.
• Responsible for improving Agile maturity across the tribe and familiar with Application Lifecycle Management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Establish effective governance and efficient communication across the tribe to enable value-based delivery.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and product owners to understand challenges and define technology solutions.

Education:

• Undergraduate Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• First-hand experience in coaching Agile methodologies.

Experience:

• 8+ years overall experience in Agile management.
• 3+ years of experience in a relevant domain (Banking/Financial) is optional.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong leadership and Agile management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior client business and IT executives on Agile transformation.
