Senior Software Engineer (Node.JS & Testing)

Synechron is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Node.JS and testing to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing scalable and highly available Restful APIs and engaging with a diverse range of cutting-edge technologies.

Job Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Experience Required: 6 Years - 10 Years
Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement scalable Restful APIs using NodeJS technologies.
• Collaborate with various teams to solve and troubleshoot issues within a distributed services ecosystem.
• Ensure best practices in coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards.
• Engage in performance tuning and debugging.

Qualifications:

• Degree or Postgraduate in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of coding experience with NodeJS, JavaScript, and databases.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and API gateway integrations (e.g., 3Scale).
• Experience in the banking, financial, or fintech sectors is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Practical experience with GraphQL and CI/CD principles.
• Knowledge of task/message queues such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Kafka.
• Understanding of single-sign-on or token-based authentication (REST, JWT, OAuth).

Soft Skills:

• Strong ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams.
• Self-motivated and able to drive projects independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with senior management.
