About the Opportunity
Design and implement the IT strategy for the company in conjunction with the Delivery Hero strategy, from device and license acquisition to networking, security, and SSO.
- Define an IT roadmap to allow the company to scale as it grows internationally.
- Oversee the overall IT budget and provide monthly forecasts.
- Oversee IT projects and initiatives.
- Operate production systems for VoIP and IVR, upgrade the company internal network to interconnect all headquarters, local offices, and tMarts.
- Closely collaborate with HR and Tech departments.
- Automate key processes, such as employee onboarding and offboarding, asset management, and access administration.
- Design and implement an account and permissions management strategy for employees, alongside the Delivery Hero ETS team.
- Implement and enforce a security strategy for employee devices.
- Implement necessary IT solutions to ensure compliance with standards like PCI.
- Lead POCs of new products beneficial for talabat.
- Lead the evolution of the help-desk service to assist employees with IT issues.
- Manage vendor relationships, focusing on budget allocation and efficiency.
- Manage a distributed team across the region.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Great communication skills, both written and spoken in English; Arabic would be a plus.
- Flexibility and the ability to make decisions on the go.
- At least 5 years of experience managing an IT team in a mid-size company with distributed offices.
- Experience deploying endpoint protection software and security policies.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and scripting.
- Experience with automation and integrations; this is a hands-on role.
- Experience with cloud providers such as AWS.
- Deep understanding of IAM/SSO solutions.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
