As a Product Designer, you will join our passionate, fast-paced Design System team and help create a modular, inclusive system of patterns and guidelines that support all customer-facing products (web/mobile) at talabat.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating and maintaining design systems, helping product designers apply them across talabat apps and platforms to provide consistently delightful user experiences. This is a unique opportunity for a designer who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and knows how to build not just components, but scalable systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the expansion and refinement of our component library and established design patterns across mobile.
- Manage libraries with precision, structure component variants and slots, and deliver high-quality documentation.
- Build flexible, scalable systems that enable rapid personalization and ensure consistent handoffs.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product designers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable UI and ensure system adoption.
- Champion inclusive design practices and ensure accessibility by default.
- Present work confidently and influence decisions across functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Design, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a product designer, with at least 2 years focused on design systems.
- Strong portfolio showcasing system thinking and complex component work.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to work autonomously in fast-changing environments.
- Proficient in Figma and familiar with atomic design, tokens, and documentation workflows.
- Experience with accessibility and design system governance.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
