Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis & Functional Design:
- Lead and review functional requirements for ALM and LRM-related data elements for the risk data mart.
- Review staging layer design and data flows required for FIS BSM ingestion, including gap analysis of existing source systems.
- Guide the team in understanding the mapping of business rules and transformation logic for critical risk attributes like contractual/behavioral cash flows.

Integration Oversight:
- Collaborate with ETL teams to validate data pipelines to feed FIS BSM.
- Ensure reconciliation logic is defined and implemented across source systems, staging, and target platforms.

Cash Flow Modelling & Risk Adjustments:
- Understand modeling assumptions and behavioral adjustments for cash flow generation.
- Provide domain insights for treatment of non-maturing deposits and Middle East specific products.

Testing & Validation:
- Review functional test cases, validate staging outputs, and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify root causes of issues and support functional troubleshooting during reconciliation and validation cycles.

SME Support & Governance:
- Act as SME for regulatory requirements (Basel III/IV, LCR, NSFR, IRRBB) and their data implications.
- Liaise with ALM, Treasury, Risk, and Finance stakeholders to validate business needs and support change management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in banking/financial services with specialization in ALM, LRM, Treasury, or Risk.
- Strong functional knowledge of FIS Balance Sheet Manager (BSM) or similar ALM solutions.
- Experience in cash flow modelling, balance sheet behavior assumptions, interest rate risk, and liquidity metrics.
- Solid understanding of financial instruments (loans, deposits, bonds, derivatives) and their risk attributes.
- Strong communication and documentation skills to act as a bridge between business users and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Middle East banking regulations or IFRS / Basel compliance is a strong plus.
- Prior involvement in a risk data mart or ALM transformation project.
- Professional certifications such as FRM, CFA, PRM, or ICAAP/ALM training are advantageous.
