Roles & Responsibilities:
- Participate in the definition of system requirements and specifications.
- Maintain internal development infrastructure and tools.
- Maintain physical infrastructure.
- Develop code to manage infrastructure and cyber services.
- Write code to automate deployment and configuration of services.
- Perform unit tests to ensure module-level functionality and data integrity.
- Conduct code peer reviews and document code.
- Provide technical support for multi-disciplinary teams.
- Perform root cause analysis for errors.
- Deploy and assist with automation technologies maintenance.
- Train and coach team members in DevOps competencies.
Work Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years of DevOps experience.
- Experience in IT Infrastructure subsystems (network, communication, datacenter, virtualization, software integration, etc.).
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and Configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Excellent knowledge of container orchestration tools (e.g., Docker Swarm).
- Proficient in major operating systems (Linux, Windows).
- Excellent knowledge of Git and Git workflows.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).
- Understanding of security protocols and technologies.
- Experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
- Preferably familiar with Agile methodologies (e.g., Jira).
Qualification & Educational Requirements:
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic and/or French is an advantage.
- Relevant industry certifications in system & network operations, cyber security, DevOps/software development.
