The Cigna Group is seeking skilled Software Engineers to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. This opportunity is part of our new branch launched in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to bolster the expansion of our health businesses globally. In this role, you will support a rapidly growing business by developing, testing, and deploying new applications utilizing Microsoft .Net Core and C#.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy new applications using Microsoft .Net Core and C#.
- Maintain and enhance existing business solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with SQL Server databases and write efficient Transact-SQL queries.
- Utilize tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or their equivalents for project tracking and issue management.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience (4+ years) in software development using Microsoft .Net Core and C#.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server database management and Transact-SQL.
- Hands-on experience with project tracking and issue management tools like Jira, ServiceNow, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Technical acumen including knowledge of software development methodologies, source code management strategies, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience in building restful microservices.
- Experience of working practices across multiple geographies and familiarity with regulatory landscapes is an advantage.
Desirable:
- Microsoft .NET Core Certification.
- Experience using Jira.
