About the Role:
Join us in a key position where you'll collaborate with fellow engineers, product teams, and senior leadership. As a Lead Engineer, you'll be instrumental in shaping our AI start-up's foundation, contributing 80% of your time to our codebase.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain ownership of mission-critical systems.
- Build high-volume platforms using cutting-edge technologies.
- Own projects from data discovery to deployment.
- Develop customer-centric prototypes for new product explorations.
- Lead and grow a small team of engineers.
- Communicate your progress and learnings proactively.
- Work across both front-end and back-end areas as needed.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of engineering experience.
- Degree in Computer Science (preferred).
- Experience in start-ups or start-up-like environments.
- Strong full-stack development experience (React, Node).
- Proficiency in Python (desired).
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), NLP, Large Language Models, Generative AI, Langchain, Transformer models.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
- Experience building mobile-friendly web applications.
- Strong product design experience.
- Willingness to experiment and quickly adopt new technologies.
