Routing & Switching / Data Center Consultant

About the Job:
Acuative Middle East is seeking a Routing & Switching / Data Center Consultant to implement and optimize Cisco Catalyst 9000 and Nexus switching environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring high-availability routing and WANs using MPLS, DMVPN, and FlexVPN, as well as troubleshooting and optimizing networks with Cisco DNA Center, NetFlow, and AppDynamics (a plus).

Responsibilities:

• Implement Cisco Catalyst 9000 and Nexus switching environments utilizing VLANs, STP, vPC, and VSS.
• Configure high-availability routing and WANs using MPLS, DMVPN, and FlexVPN.
• Troubleshoot and optimize networks with tools like Cisco DNA Center, NetFlow, and AppDynamics.

Required Skills:

• CCNP Enterprise or Data Center certification (preferred) with 5+ years of experience in Cisco Routing & Switching.
• Expert-level knowledge of EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS, with experience in route optimization and policy-based routing.
• Advanced experience with Cisco Catalyst 9000 and Nexus switches, especially in VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), VSS, and vPC.
• Expertise in Cisco Nexus 9000 with VXLAN, FabricPath, and EVPN for scalable data center designs.
