About the Job
Akkodis is seeking a Technical Manager to lead digital transformation initiatives for clients in the public sector. The main tasks include creating digital and technology vision and conceptual architectures, benchmarking analysis of the current business and technology ecosystems, and identifying gaps based on analysis of business and employee feedback. The Technical Manager will also assist in understanding and implementing digital transformation strategies and roadmaps, conducting business process studies, and providing technology consulting to identify automation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create digital and technology vision and architect conceptual frameworks for clients.
  • Conduct benchmarking analysis of the current digital government business and technology ecosystem.
  • Analyze the current state of digital government, identifying gaps and recommending future states.
  • Develop digital transformation strategies in the context of public sector business knowledge.
  • Facilitate business process studies, addressing business problems and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Engage in technology consulting, identifying automation possibilities, and suggesting potential solutions.
  • Manage client relationships and serve as an onsite coordinator for complex digital transformation projects.
  • Prepare and evaluate key project documentation such as business requirement documents and system requirement specifications.

Required Skills:

  • Understanding of emerging technologies and their applications within the digital government ecosystem, including Artificial Intelligence, RPA, and IoT.
  • Strong knowledge of architecture patterns for designing digital government solutions.
  • Excellent data analysis and storytelling skills.
  • Prior experience in digital transformation and digital government projects in the region.
  • TOGAF certification is a plus.
  • Organized, structured, and analytical problem-solving approach.
  • Proactive mindset in addressing challenges in a customer-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, both virtual and physically.
  • Flexibility to work under tight deadlines.

Required Experience:

  • 8-10 years of global experience in IT and digital transformation, with at least 6-8 years focused on Digital Government.
  • Familiarity with the digital government ecosystem and understanding of different user personas and journeys.
  • Previous engagement in key digital government solutions and their modules.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
