In this role, you will drive relationships with Category Leaders, Heads of Seller Services, and Program owners. You will take the finance lead for all initiatives, planning processes, and metrics for periodic reviews. Keeping customer experience in mind, you will implement cost reduction initiatives across the value chain. Your objective is to help the business achieve ambitious growth targets, benchmark performance against other marketplaces, and establish effective plans and forecasts.

Continuous auditing of business inputs and processes will be necessary to ensure robust financial controls remain effective. You will need to deeply analyze every aspect of the business to drive improvements, relying on data and sound business judgment to inform long-term decisions. You will also lead the development of tools to deliver insightful analyses and reporting to support decision-making and performance monitoring.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and demonstrate creative and analytical problem-solving skills, coupled with strong leadership in managing stakeholders and driving results. As part of Amazon, you will embrace the company's motto of "Work Hard. Have Fun. Make History."

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a finance business partner across various programs and processes.
  • Lead planning and performance reviews and hold teams accountable for their KPIs.
  • Deliver meaningful insights and practical recommendations based on financial analysis.

  • Analyze initiatives and share learnings for better planning and execution.
  • Build processes, tools, and dashboards to support business decisions.
  • Understand data limitations and make informed trade-offs between timeliness and accuracy.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in tax, finance, or related analytical field.
  • 4+ years of experience applying key financial performance indicators to analyses.
  • Proven track record in leading, executing, and improving finance or business processes.
  • Experience with financial modeling and P&L management.
  • Stakeholder engagement experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced SQL skills for data mining.
