Senior QA Engineer - Manual

About the Job

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will work in a fast-paced, learning-oriented environment and collaborate with a team of engineers to deliver high-quality products scalable to millions of users. You will leverage 6 years of experience in QA for iOS/Android mobile apps and/or web development products in a software company.

Responsibilities & Authorities:

• Write clear and concise use cases, test plans, and test cases.
• Possess a strong understanding of agile methodologies and Software Quality Assurance practices.
• Employ various testing methodologies, including regression testing, ad-hoc testing, black box testing, security testing, user interface testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Conduct features testing, bug testing, regression testing, system testing, and performance testing for mobile applications and products.
• Familiarity with test-writing tools like Redmine and TestRail is essential.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, engaging with all levels of stakeholders, including Product Owners, Sponsors, Developers, Designers, Product Managers, and DevOps.
• Awareness of testing techniques such as equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision table testing, and exploratory testing.
• Knowledge of the business domain of communication apps is a plus.
• Very good English communication skills are necessary.
• Understanding of load stress and performance testing, including the use of load/performance testing tools, is desired.
• Capability to create load and performance tests is a plus.
• Knowledge of test automation and automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium IDE, Selenium Webdriver) is beneficial.
• Good programming and database concepts are also a plus.
