About the Job
As an Implementation Specialist in a Client Focused role within BCG's Operations Practice Area, you will collaborate within a growing global team to deliver value to clients through your expertise and institutionalized knowledge assets, including products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, and domain-specific data. Your contributions will involve providing relevant analysis and insights to support case teams, helping them create a strong impact for clients. Additionally, you will assist in business development and marketing efforts for operations implementation programs as opportunities arise, including conducting research and analysis.

Travel to client sites is expected to understand requirements and design/develop solutions. The Operations Practice Area plays a crucial role in helping clients enhance performance and build strategic capabilities. As you focus on large implementation programs, you’ll have the opportunity to deepen your expertise and support commercialization efforts in conjunction with business leaders. Key activities may include:

  • Supporting the ramp-up of engineering and production systems, aligned to environmental and local development goals.
  • Analyzing and optimizing end-to-end operations processes and workflows.
  • Implementing lean and sustainable manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies in collaboration with client counterparts.
  • Monitoring process performance metrics and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Analyzing procurement processes to identify efficiency and cost-saving opportunities, and implementing new procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Monitoring procurement metrics for continuous improvement and risk management.

You Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field, along with 1+ years of relevant work experience (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, supply chain management, procurement).
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a strict minimum of 2+ years of relevant work experience in a large corporate setting.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities, demonstrating both analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Foundational understanding of industrial processes and methodologies such as lean and Six Sigma.

In this role, you will work face to face with clients, collaborating closely with BCG Project Leaders, Associates, and Consultants. Between cases, you will also engage with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to enhance your expertise and service offerings to both internal and external clients. As a member of the Knowledge Team (KT), you will leverage functional and industry expertise to co-create insights and support business development efforts, thereby helping to deliver superior value for BCG clients.
