The role of Senior Executive Manager - Solution Architecture at Bupa Arabia is designed to lead and manage a team of solution architects and systems analysts. This position aims to deliver high-quality, innovative, and purpose-fit systems that meet the business requirements in line with the overall business strategy. The Solution Architect bridges the gap between business problems and technology solutions, encompassing various responsibilities such as leading technical teams, identifying the best technical solutions, documenting system characteristics, and ensuring that solutions align with business needs.

Key Accountabilities

1. System Design

   • Develop and maintain models of current and future Application Architecture for Bupa Arabia.
   • Prepare business cases for IT solutions, taking into account infrastructure, licenses, development, and support.
   • Establish application architecture and integration plans for all applications.
   • Monitor and propose improvements for reliability, scalability, extensibility, security, and performance of systems.

2. System Analysis

   • Analyze technical environments for compliance with standards and assure the implementation of futuristic solutions.
   • Create solution prototypes to validate their effectiveness in current and future environments.
   • Participate in technology selection processes to identify optimal systems.

3. Manage Central Standards

   • Set collaboration frameworks, coding standards, and procedures.
   • Define technical documentation standards and ensure maintenance processes.
   • Implement best practices in source code management and conduct code reviews for security and compliance.
   • Conduct application stress, load, and performance testing.

4. Resource & Project Management

   • Manage performance review processes for team members.
   • Engage employees in identifying actions and securing their commitment to project delivery.
   • Monitor project status and resources to ensure timely delivery of quality outputs.
   • Identify and mitigate project risks while developing and maintaining standard methodologies, templates, and project documentation.

Skills Required

• Strong analytical and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in SOA, Microservices, APIs, and middleware systems.
• Expertise in system implementations and SDLC management.
• Experience with SQL (including writing T-SQL queries) and reporting services.
• Proven background in architectural frameworks and software design.
• Familiarity with a variety of coding languages and technologies such as C#, Java, JavaScript, and others.
• Knowledge of different operating systems, databases, and infrastructure components.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence tools, especially Generative AI.
• Excellent communication skills.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
