About the Job
ByteDance is looking for a Policy & Planning Manager to join our Corporate Services COE team in Dubai. This role involves policy development, research, strategic planning, data analytics, and programme management. The focus is on elevating and creating unique employee and corporate service experiences, particularly for operational teams. The manager will engage in various projects to help implement industry knowledge across our global portfolio and provide specialist advice and business partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Policy Research, Analysis & Evaluation: Conduct research, evaluation, and analysis of policies, regulations, and legislation relevant to food programme requirements. Identify gaps, challenges, and propose solutions.
  • Policy Development: Support creation of data and evidence-based policies, guidelines, and initiatives to address food programme challenges, innovation, customer satisfaction, and forward-looking practices.
  • Strategic Planning: Assist regional teams in developing strategic plans and frameworks to support policy initiatives with measurable success outcomes.
  • Business Partnership and Stakeholder Engagement: Successfully engage and partner with the business to co-create sustainable solutions.
  • Data Management, Monitoring, and Evaluation: Use data analysis to measure success and establish mechanisms to assess policy and intervention impact.
  • Consultation and Collaboration: Provide expertise and guidance to stakeholders and operation teams.
  • Project Management: Plan, execute, evaluate, and govern projects and programmes.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish performance metrics for COE activities and prepare management reports.
  • Change Management: Lead initiatives for change and transformation, providing guidance and training.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • Strategic mindset with strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proven leadership experience in diverse environments.
  • Passion for promoting growth and innovative solutions, with a willingness to embrace change.
  • Strong project and programme management experience in a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project).
  • Willingness to travel internationally when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in the food and catering service industry and/or workplace operations.
  • Rich experience in catering management, workplace operations, or related fields.
  • Good technical operational knowledge; relevant Food, Health, and Safety certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience in on-site catering management within technology companies, capable of navigating different applications to drive data-driven solutions.
