Position

Join our team as a Simulator Engineer at the Naval Training Centre in Taweelah! This exciting opportunity is perfect for experienced Simulator Engineers who are ready to maintain and support our state-of-the-art naval simulators. The role will require travel to other sites, including our Sas Al Nakhl base in Abu Dhabi (Rotary Simulators) and the UAV Training Centre at Liwa Airbase and KBZAC, Al Ain (UAV Simulators), providing holiday cover and ad hoc support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on simulators and associated systems.
  • Diagnose and correct both routine and complex problems.
  • Utilize maintenance management systems to track activities.
  • Train technicians and complete designated training activities.
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks, visual alignments, and evaluate Qualification Test Guide (QTG) results.
  • Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.
  • Maintain customer relationships and provide timely support.
  • Perform logistics duties, including parts received, repair, and testing/validation.
  • Extend on-site support to the installation team from CAE Inc/CAE USA when required.

Qualifications:

  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent related training.
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct Flight Simulator experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot to system level on multiple types of simulators.
  • Proficiency in using all types of test equipment.
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance, pre-flight, and post-flight checks.
  • In-depth visual adjustment and set-ups on at least one type of visual system.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and suite.
  • Language Requirements: Fluency in English.
  • Other: UAE driving license.
