The Simulator Support Technician is responsible for maintaining and supporting simulator systems to ensure their operational readiness. Key responsibilities include assisting in updating monthly NDB, charts, checklists, etc., as guided by senior engineers; performing preventive maintenance tasks independently on simulators and associated systems; diagnosing and correcting simulator issues by referring to schematics; utilizing the Maintenance Management System (Gemini) to record and track maintenance activities; carrying out housekeeping functions to maintain the simulator's appearance and functionality; performing preflight checks on all simulators and ensuring morning readiness is signed off when required; running QTG in accordance with the preventive maintenance schedule and verifying with the engineer on shift; and pursuing ongoing professional growth and training from senior colleagues.
