About the Job:
The System Engineer is responsible for servicing managed service customers both onsite and remotely. The successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency in various hardware and software systems. Expertise in network infrastructure technologies and IP network design is required, along with strong skills in Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Desktop operating systems, messaging, collaboration systems, and database systems. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, able to identify issues, and work independently in diverse environments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related IT position (consulting experience is a plus)
  • Expertise in IT industry's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Windows 2003 and higher platform
  • Experience with Active Directory and Windows System Administration
  • Knowledge and experience with print management solutions and Document Management Systems
  • Proficient with messaging and collaboration systems such as Exchange and SharePoint
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, and SNMP
  • Familiarity with Windows Virtualization using VMWare ESX and Hyper-V, including deployment and administration
  • Understanding of Storage Area Network subsystems
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or Network+
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of associates and management
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is preferable
