About the Job
The Monitoring Lead will be responsible for building and overseeing a comprehensive monitoring function for all digital services. This includes monitoring applications, infrastructure, and integrations with government entities using tools such as Dynatrace and Grafana. The role focuses on ensuring system reliability, performance optimization, incident prevention, and efficient response to system issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a scalable, efficient monitoring framework using Dynatrace.
  • Establish best practices and guidelines for monitoring applications, infrastructure, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Deploy and configure Dynatrace for end-to-end monitoring of applications, cloud environments, APIs, and integrations.
  • Monitor real-time performance and availability, identifying anomalies and performance bottlenecks.
  • Implement automated alerting and dashboards for proactive monitoring and reporting.
  • Lead incident resolution efforts and perform root-cause analysis (RCA).
  • Ensure robust monitoring of integrations with government entities for SLA compliance.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure seamless data flow and secure integration.
  • Develop and automate monitoring processes to optimize resource utilization.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine the monitoring setup using advanced techniques like AI-based anomaly detection.
  • Build and mentor a team of monitoring analysts.
  • Provide regular reports on system performance, incident trends, and SLA compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Extensive experience in ITIL standards and Service Management processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven decision-making focus.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Experience:

  • 5+ years in IT monitoring, including at least 2 years in a lead role.
  • Hands-on experience with Dynatrace in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong background in monitoring large-scale applications and infrastructure.
  • Experience working with or within government entities is an advantage.
