About the job
As a Data Classification Consultant, you will be responsible for successfully implementing data classification and categorization across the business. You will work with SID Telco Data Models and be involved in labeling logical attributes for various Telco domains and sub-domains. Your role will include classifying logical entities within the enterprise, such as customers, locations, and networks, as well as mapping physical attributes to logical data attributes.

Additionally, you will classify data according to regulatory requirements, with a preference for National Data Management Office (NDMO) standards. A strong understanding of the privacy domain, particularly within the telecom industry, is essential, along with familiarity with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other categorization standards.

You will demonstrate expertise in Data Governance (DG), and experience with Informatica DG tools is considered a plus. Proven experience in software lifecycle management, collaboration with stakeholders, and managing client relationships is crucial. The ability to present confidently is required, alongside a strong telecom background.

You should have a record of creating data protection policies, guidance notes, and establishing templates. Knowledge of Collibra or other DG tools is advantageous. Keeping up-to-date with the IT industry trends is important in this role.
