About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Data Platform & Artificial Intelligence Cloud Solution Architect to drive high-priority customer initiatives on the Microsoft Azure Platform. This role involves collaborating with customers and the Core42 field team within our Enterprise accounts segment to design, implement, and support Azure-based data and AI solutions. This is a customer-facing role, owning the overall technical relationship between the customer and Core42's Data, Advanced Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence Platform.
Core42 is the UAE’s national-scale enabler for cloud and generative AI, combining expertise across multiple technology disciplines into a single platform for public sector and large enterprise transformations. Building on our capabilities as a sovereign cloud and HPC specialist, we bring generative AI, cybersecurity, professional and managed services expertise to enable national-scale program deployments across industries.
Responsibilities

Solution Development and Design:
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements, business objectives, and pain points.
- Understand customers’ overall data estate, business, and IT priorities to design Data & Analytics solutions that drive business value.
- Ensure that solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, repeatability, reusability, and reliability upon deployment.
- Design innovative and customized solutions that address client needs, leveraging existing Azure products or recommending enhancements.

Project Management:
- Develop and manage project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including product development, implementation, and support, to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including status reports, timelines, and resource allocation.

Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and managing client expectations.
- Present and demonstrate proposed solutions to clients, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Build trusted advisor status and deep relationships across stakeholders through an understanding of customer needs and technologies.

Solution Proposition:
- Collaborate with technical teams to oversee solution propositions, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Coordinate technical activities to validate the functionality and performance of the solution.
- Gather feedback for further improvements and troubleshoot issues that arise during the proposal process.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Azure data and AI solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the solution management lifecycle.
- Contribute to the enhancement of existing products or the development of new products based on customer feedback and market demands.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or Business Applications consulting.
- Experience delivering large-scale Azure AI Services projects, such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Speech, Azure Machine Learning, Generative AI, LLM customization, NLP, MLOps, Evaluation Metrics, Open-source AI frameworks, and AI Infrastructure architecture design.
- Experience creating Data & AI Proof of Concepts (PoC) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for customers that lead to production deployments.
