About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Infrastructure Cloud Solution Architect to drive high-priority customer initiatives on the Core42 Cloud Platform, specifically focusing on Microsoft Azure. This role involves collaborating with customers and the Core42 field team within our Enterprise accounts segment to design, implement, and support Azure-based solutions.
Core42 is the UAE’s national-scale enabler for cloud and generative AI, combining G42 Group’s expertise across multiple technology disciplines into a single platform for public sector and large enterprise transformations. Building on our capabilities as a sovereign cloud and HPC specialist, we bring generative AI, cybersecurity, professional, and managed services expertise to enable national-scale program deployments across industries.
Responsibilities
- Solution Development and Design: Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements, business objectives, and pain points. Design Azure Cloud Infrastructure solutions that drive business value while ensuring high performance, security, scalability, maintainability, repeatability, reusability, and reliability upon deployment.
- Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved, monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships, managing expectations, and providing ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction.
- Solution Proposition: Collaborate with technical teams to oversee solution propositions, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to Azure cloud solutions, identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to product enhancements based on customer feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, or architecture.
- Experience in a customer-facing role and leading technical projects.
- Technical Certification in Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
